Archive for December, 2008

My grandma’s apartment is on the third floor, a corner unit. This is my favorite view, walking from her front door to the elevator. She thinks I’m nuts, but I love the peek of water and palmtrees. Advertisements

Little friend

He was hanging out on the parking bumper under my grandma’s car. These guys are everywhere here We are heading out to lunch, and then off to the airport. Sadness.

The beach!

Mommy and Momma took me to the beach. For about 15 minutes. (more photos to come from the regular camera once I get home and have Internet access.) Also, it may feel like July outside, but the water sure feels like December! Brrr!

The Salty Dog

The view from our favorite restaurant on the water. Okay, so one of our *many* favorite restaurants around town. The Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium is across the street. My grandpa was a tour guide, and my grandma worked in the gift shop. I wanted to be a marine biologist when i was a kid. […]

Happy hanukkah!

Mom and Momma walk by the giant menorah. I guess it counts as lighting the candles.

Location: Sarasota waterfront, just off the Ringling bridge.

This afternoon is purely relaxation. Tomorrow starts writing poolside. I’m hiding in the shade, and it’s still so beautiful here.

My grandma’s lanai.

Waiting, early

One hour to takeoff.

Look what I found in a storage cabinet. Happy holidays, from me to all you in blog-land.
