My grandma’s apartment is on the third floor, a corner unit. This is my favorite view, walking from her front door to the elevator. She thinks I’m nuts, but I love the peek of water and palmtrees.

We are heading out to lunch, and then off to the airport. Sadness.

Mommy and Momma took me to the beach.

Also, it may feel like July outside, but the water sure feels like December! Brrr!

The view from our favorite restaurant on the water. Okay, so one of our *many* favorite restaurants around town. The Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium is across the street. My grandpa was a tour guide, and my grandma worked in the gift shop. I wanted to be a marine biologist when i was a kid. I love that place.

This afternoon is purely relaxation. Tomorrow starts writing poolside. I’m hiding in the shade, and it’s still so beautiful here.
