chipotle.
24Jan09
i love chipotle. i always get the same thing – vegetarian burrito, with the rice, black beans, tomatoes, guacamole, and cheese. unlike most people though, i only eat half in one sitting. it doesn’t look like a lot of food, but it’s pretty filling. and it feels healthy enough – nothing fried, breaded, or greasy. and the leftovers, yumm. but is it really healthy?
here’s how my order measures up, nutrition-wise.

looks pretty dreadful, doesn’t it? but remember . . . i’m only eating half at a time!
(and i don’t eat it often. and avocados have the ‘good fat.’ and . . . well, you get the idea.)

When I go there now (and I LOVE Chipotle) I always get the bowls. Just look at that fiber!! :D
Reading this makes me think I will NEVER look at the nutritional value of the burrito I eat from Chipotle. And I eat the whole thing.
